Swimming Pool
Our pool is 25m long with 6 lanes. Starting at 1.1m it goes all the way down to 3.5m and is crystal clear and 29 degrees. See the full timetable for details. Activities include:
- Public and family swims – generally 2 or 3 lanes plus a wide open section for general swimming – Weekends are more relaxed with floats and toys
- Lane swims – just as it says, lanes with different swim speeds
Over – 50’s – quieter session for those not wanting to splash about so much - Parent and toddler – pre-school session
- Adult swim – lanes and no children
- Adult beginners – a quiet session for those wanting to learn again or just want a quiet gentle swim
There are also resident clubs including Tornadoes Swimming Club, Waterpolo, Aquacise, Octopush, Rookie Lifeguards, Canoe Lifeguards, Nautilus Sub-aqua, Weyport Swimmers and Triathlon sessions.
Gym
We have four fantastic gyms – something for everyone.
- The Main Gym has traditional resistance and cardio equipment for the all-round workout
- The Rig Room has a functional frame plus loads of great kit for full body and body weight routines
- The Weights Room is full of free weights – great for those wanting to push that bit harder
- The Pneumatic Room has a range of lighter resistance machines – great for rehab and less intense work and this room is quiet
- Inductions, programmes and Personal Training
- Group classes and train at your own pace

It’s Party Time
Just for kids. Choose from our range of great activities to help mark that special day
- Inflatable – a huge inflatable platform in the pool to challenge agility and skill
- Wet and Wild – the whole pool with floats, balls, sinkers and lots of splashing
- Bouncy Castle – great for younger children or why not mix it up with sports and games
- Just Sports – your choice – football, hockey, mixed games (with or without a coach)
Each party gives an hour of fun and games then off to the party room for a choice of delicious hot food or cold buffet. Enquire in centre get in touch online, for full details.

Probably the largest sports hall in the area – great for sports
